Hardrace Toyota GR Yaris Gear Linkage Cable Bushes

Swap the soft factory bushes for solid CNC-machined aluminium bushes and sharpen your gear change. This Hardrace kit removes play in the GR Yaris gear linkage, so shifts feel tighter, cleaner, and more consistent.

By holding the shift cables in firm alignment at the gearbox, these bushes cut out the flex you get from rubber parts. The result is a crisper shift with better feedback, especially when driving hard.

How it works

The GR Yaris uses cable-operated shifting. The factory bushes at the cable ends are rubber, which can flex and compress. Solid aluminium bushes remove this movement. They do not change the actual throw, but the reduced squish can make the shift feel shorter and more positive.

Fitment

Designed for Toyota GR Yaris 1.6 Turbo (GXPA16), 2020-on. This kit replaces the cable-end bushes at the gearbox side.

Installation

Direct bolt-on. Reuses factory hardware. Basic hand tools are usually enough. No cutting or drilling required.

Note: Solid bushes can pass a little more vibration and gear noise into the cabin. This is normal and usually minor.
