The Powerflex Road Series Upper Gearbox Mount Insert (Diesel) – PFF1-1130R is expertly crafted to enhance the performance of your diesel vehicle. Made from our softest Red 65A durometer material, this insert is designed to limit noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) transmission. It fills the voids in the original equipment (OE) rubber mount, which often fails in tuned vehicles, providing a more precise and settled transmission response during acceleration and deceleration.
By stiffening and supporting the perished rubber bush, this mount insert smooths out gear changes, ensuring a more refined driving experience. Please note that a small increase in NVH, typically at idle, is to be expected when stiffening the connecting mount between the engine/transmission and chassis.
