What Does It Do?
Your car’s standard air filter is made from paper, which does a reasonable job of keeping dust and debris out of the engine, but it restricts airflow more than it needs to. This Ramair filter uses a high-flow synthetic nanofibre filtration media – a fine, engineered fabric that filters just as effectively as paper but allows more air to pass through. More air reaching the engine means better combustion, which can result in a slightly sharper throttle response and improved engine efficiency.
The filter is pleated – folded into a concertina-like shape – to maximise the surface area packed into the same space as your original filter. More surface area means more filtration and more airflow at the same time.
