This is a complete performance induction kit designed specifically for the Audi TT (8J) with the 2.0 TFSI engine. It replaces the restrictive factory airbox with a free-flowing hard pipe and high-flow foam filter setup, helping your engine breathe more easily and perform better as a result.

The kit has been developed by Ramair, a UK brand with a strong background in motorsport air filtration. Everything you need for installation is included in the box – there are no additional parts to source.

Important: This kit is NOT compatible with left-hand drive vehicles. It is designed for right-hand drive Audi TT (8J) models only.

Why Upgrade the Air Intake?

The standard factory airbox is designed with noise reduction and cost in mind, not outright performance. Replacing it with an unrestricted intake system allows the engine to pull in more air more freely, which can improve throttle response, power delivery and overall engine efficiency – particularly noticeable once the vehicle has been remapped.

Ramair quote up to 10% power improvement on a mapped vehicle, and up to 25% reduction in airflow restriction compared to the standard setup. These figures are based on mapped results and are industry-recognised for this type of kit – gains on an unmapped car will be more modest, but improved response and induction sound are still noticeable.

Build Quality

The heat shield is a standout feature of this kit. Rather than a basic sheet metal bracket, Ramair use the same CNC laser-cutting and assembly methods applied in their tier 1 motorsport work. This means a precise, well-fitting shield that genuinely helps keep hot engine bay air away from the filter – maintaining cooler, denser intake air for better combustion.

The filter itself uses Ramair’s twin-layer performance foam, which offers high airflow while still providing effective filtration. It is supported internally by a stainless-steel cage to maintain its shape under the suction pressures created by the engine.

This kit is designed for the Audi TT (8J) 2.0 TFSI (EA113) with engine codes BWA or BPY, covering model years 2006 to 2014. Right-hand drive only.
