The Ramair ProMax is a complete, enclosed performance air intake kit designed as a direct upgrade over the restrictive factory airbox on VAG 2.0 TDI engines. It replaces the standard setup with a more free-flowing intake system, helping to improve throttle response and overall engine performance – without the excessive heat exposure that can affect open-filter induction kits.

What Makes It Different to a Standard Airbox?

Your factory airbox is designed to be quiet and meet emissions standards – not to flow as much air as possible. The Ramair ProMax housing is built from aluminium, which helps shield the filter from heat generated by the engine. Cooler, denser air entering the engine means better combustion and a more responsive throttle. The kit also comes with custom silicone hoses running from the filter housing to the turbocharger inlet, creating a smoother, more direct airflow path with fewer restrictions along the way.
