Swagier BMW E36 Rear Trailing Arm Wider Pocket Replacement Kit
This is the latest product in the reinforcement series for this model.
The reinforcement has been designed with more demanding users in mind, as well as for more intensive repairs of the E36—often used as a base for various motorsport projects.
Our product is intended not only to repair the mounting point but also to prevent future damage. That’s why it is highly recommended to weld in this kit during the build or repair of the rear suspension.
The reinforcements are made from 3mm thick S355 structural steel.
This is especially important for heavily lowered cars and those focused on maximizing grip.
NOTE: Due to the larger bracket design, some of the body panel must be trimmed to accommodate it.
The kit also includes a TEMPLATE that must be used before cutting the body.
It should be positioned and several holes drilled to create a reference for correctly welding the new brackets/reinforcements.
When the drilled holes match the holes in the reinforcement piece, it means it is properly aligned.
